                                         Hard Work

“A lot of people notice when you succeed, but they don’t see what it takes to get there.”

(Quote by Dawn Staley)

Yes, so many people take their definition of success and decide whether or not you fit into that category. It’s funny that people will count your money, calculate the cost of your outfit, or look upon your house and cars and think —hmmm success or failure. All the while never taking into account what it may have cost you to be wherever you are today.

Hustle. Grind. Late nights. Early mornings. And most importantly prayer and the favor of the Lord are the main ingredients to some people’s success. But on the flip side of that, some people go through devastating losses or suffer tremendous sacrifices to get where they are.

College basketball tournament time is a time of year we can see the college basketball players’ hard work they have put in to make it to these final games. Athletes in general are a perfect example of people who sacrifice so much (time, their bodies, their relationships, and more…) to compete at such great levels. It’s pretty impressive to witness.

You know who else made a tremendous sacrifice —just for all of us? JESUS did. He literally laid down His entire life - for our sake so we don’t have to suffer in eternity. Now that ...is even more impressive.
